Most "eco" tableware swaps one plastic for another. KYSON removes the plastic at the coating level, so the compliance story holds up under EU law — and under independent certification.
The difference that decides whether you are shipping a plastic or not.
A plastic film is bonded to the paper. The item is a plastic-containing single-use product and falls under EU SUPD restrictions.
No plastic film. The coating is applied as a water-based layer, so the product contains no plastic and is not a single-use plastic under EU rules.
